Cut a rectangular piece of wood with aspect ratio 1:2 accordingly to the above MetaPost drawing. For a (2.50m)x(1.25m) rectangle the distances between the central middle line and the ellipsis focus are indicated.
Assemble the pieces as in the above picture or in a similar way.
This is what you get.
